Board of Education

A seven-member elected Board of Education serves the educational needs and interests of Albuquerque Public Schools.

First and foremost, the health, safety, and well-being of our students, staff, and families is our number one priority.2020欧洲杯线上投注 As a proactive measure to limit the potential community spread of COVID-19, the Board of Education made the decision to hold meetings with only the minimum personnel needed to continue the critical work of the district.

2020欧洲杯线上投注On Monday March 23, 2020, Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham announced additional restrictions to disrupt the spread of the COVID-19 virus in New Mexico and instructed New Mexicans to remain in their homes or places of residence except for outings necessary for health, safety and welfare.

In light of these new restrictions, APS is taking extra precautions with necessary meetings.  All Board of Education meetings will be virtual meetings for the month of April and May; all committee meetings will be cancelled and committee agenda items will go to a Special or Regular Board meeting.  The agenda items will be kept to urgent business or those items needing approval to conduct district business.

The situation with the Covid-19 virus continues to evolve quickly, and we will be monitoring it closely. In the meantime, you can participate in the work of the Board of Education by:
